Happy Holidays

It's that time of year again when people are running around buying gifts, going to holiday parties and um drinking egg nogg...yuck:) The chill in the air let's us know that it is officially acceptable to wear scarves. We hope everyone is able to spend quality time with their friends and family and hopefully don't get a lump of coal in their stocking. I know we have been good...have you?

Chicago

We just got back from Chicago & are still trying to thaw out. Had so much fun & spent time with some really great friends of ours. Chicago is such a great city & very pedestrian friendly. We were fortunate enough to stay @ a great hotel right on the river over looking the city. The food, nightlife, & shopping were amazing but we are very glad to be back home in SB.

We are getting Married!!!

Kyle proposed on 12/7/08 @ Shoreline Park in Santa Barbara. We are super excited and can't wait to share this wonderful moment with our family & friends!

San Fran

We love San Francisco. Everytime we go we enjoy such great shopping, walking, dining out & people watching.

The weather was amazing; actually no fog in the foggy city. We often think we could live in SF but then we realize how crazy and cramped the city can be. Oh well, many trips to come.

Cambria/ Shell Beach

Recently Kyle & I went to Cambria then Shell Beach; Kyle for work & I for relaxation. We were in those areas for the Central Coast Wine Classic. Kyle was asked to be a guest sommelier attending the wonderful dinner @ Hearst Castle as well as pouring at the wine symposiums. We met so many great people from the Big Sur & Carmel area. There was even two women in our group that fire danced. It was crazy. Saturday we attended the live auction in Avila in which I believe $800,000 was raised to go towards many organizations & groups. That was amazing! Any who, the trip was a blast although I am good on vino for like a year...not! California really has some great cities & these were definitely two of them.

Spain

Kyle & I went to Spain in May of 2007. One of the best trips we have ever had. We visited Madrid, Valladolid, the region of Rioja & many other fabulous places. The reason for the trip was to visit different wine regions & particular wineries. Everyone was so pleasant and made the trip truly memorable. Posted is a pic of Kyle, me & David- owner of a winery. I know Kyle is calling me a "butthead" for posting this, but this Spanish dude was quite the cutie...sorry Kyle, but you know I love you to pieces & hey I haven't left you to move to Spain yet have I?
